Cordyceps: The Mushroom Everyone Is Sleeping On

There’s been a lot of buzz around Lion’s Mane lately, and for good reason. Many people in the wellness space talk about its potential focus-supporting benefits. In fact, Lion’s Mane might even be what first got you interested in mushroom coffee.

But there’s another mushroom that deserves just as much attention: Cordyceps.

Cordyceps is one of the most underrated functional mushrooms in the wellness world, yet its benefits are hard to ignore. It’s often associated with:

  • sustained energy

  • stamina

  • endurance

  • oxygen utilization

In other words, it’s not just about feeling “awake.”
It’s about helping your body keep up with demanding days.

That’s one reason we included Cordyceps in our blend.

One of the reasons Cordyceps is often associated with energy support is that researchers believe it may help support the body’s natural production of ATP.

If you remember this from high school biology, ATP stands for Adenosine Triphosphate. It’s the primary molecule our cells use to store and transfer energy.

ATP plays a major role in how our bodies perform physically and mentally, especially during exercise and periods of stress. Some early research on Cordyceps suggests it may help support oxygen uptake and energy production, which is why it has become popular among athletes and people in the wellness space.

Instead of the sharp spike and crash that can come from caffeine alone, Cordyceps is often used to support more sustained energy and endurance throughout the day.

Although we included it in our coffee for that added boost, the appeal of Cordyceps goes beyond energy alone.

You could almost call Cordyceps the “magic bean” of the mushroom world. Underrated and often overlooked, yet packed with potential.
